theEword is a digital marketing agency specialising in the property sector and they share The Property Marketing Strategists’ passion of providing insights to the sector. 

In January 2025 theEword launched its latest report: What do students want? PBSA booking journey edition. With the objective of reaching a wider audience and generating a significant number of report downloads, theEword approached us to help meet this target by utilising our database, social media followers and network.

With the success of Housed: The Shared Living Podcast and each episode reaching hundreds of industry professionals, theEword invested in sponsoring a series of Housed which included:  

  • featuring across all promotional content  

  • a jingle played at the beginning of all episodes for 3 months 

  • one dedicated thought leadership interview  

For the one-off special episode, Mariel Rubinstein, theEword’s Head of Digital, joined as a co-host to discuss the latest research and share her expert knowledge of using digital marketing to drive leads and room bookings in the PBSA sector. The episode, so far, has received nearly 300 downloads. 

PARTNER NEWSLETTER 

Following on from the podcast episode, becoming a partner for The Property Marketing Strategists newsletter was the perfect opportunity for theEword to reach a wider audience. 

After a full brief, we wrote and designed the newsletter ensuring that the main focus was downloading theEword report. The newsletter was sent out to our full database and achieved an 18% open rate and 5% click-through rate, giving theEword new visitors to their website and a significant amount of report downloads.
